Hyundai Elantra Review
The new Hyundai Elantra is a compact sedan that offers luxury touches at an affordable price. It is part of Hyundai's big push to introduce seven new models to the US within a two year period, and it is arriving in dealerships now. The Elantra features a sculptured exterior that is key to the new Hyundai design theme. While it looks luxurious, it has a very affordable price starting at just under $15,000.
This year's model is the 5th generation of Elantra, and though it is sold as a compact car, there is enough space inside to qualify under EPA rules as a mid-size. Some of the premium amenities offered are rare for a car of this class, including a touch-screen navigation system with a rear-view camera, a Bluetooth hands-free phone system with voice recognition, and a heated rear seat.
